It’s that simple. Just like them (rumored at this point) designing their own chips and other hardware to make their machines and software only run together. Effectively killing the hackintosh. Also there has been talk of getting rid of the Mac Mini line, but I have not looked into it that much. Basically they’re doing what they did with the new MacBooks and throwing a giant wrench into everyone’s workflow in favor of us having to buy their hardware to be able to use their software. Looks very similar to the Ground Control solution. Is this something that was built custom or something Apple provides?
Apple is talking to me about this and requesting a $15k engagement to set it up. Also would this work on an Mac Mini and just using it's built in ports if our use was more minimal and didn't require a full sync station for a few devices?
